Cinco De Mayo Margaritas

Cinco de Mayo is the perfect excuse for you to enjoy a Mexican cocktail and what better way to celebrate than with some Margaritas?

To help you get in the Cinco de Mayo mood, we’ve got four cocktail recipes for amazing Margaritas to recreate at home.

Traditional Margarita

50ml White Tequila
25ml Fresh Lime Juice
25ml Cointreau
Lime wedges to garnish

Method: Wipe the wedge of a lime around the rim of a tumbler and dip in salt to coat. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add all the ingredients then shake. Strain into a glass and squeeze in a fresh wedge of lime.

Crushed Margarita

25ml White Tequila
12.5ml Cointreau
12.5ml Lime Juice
5 Ice Cubes
Lime to garnish

Method: Fill blender with crushed ice and all ingredients. Blend gently and pour into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lime.

Mango Margarita

50ml Tequila
100ml Lime Juice
1 Small Mango (Diced)
Crushed Ice Cubes
1 Lime (Cut into 4 Wedges)
50ml Tequila

Method: Wipe edge of lime around your glass and dip the glass rim into the salt. Add all ingredients to a blender then pour into glass and garnish with lime wedge.

Coco Pina Margarita

50ml Tequila
50ml Coconut Cream
110ml Pineapple Juice
3 Slices of Pineapple

Method: Add tequila, coconut cream and pineapple juice into a blender and blend until smooth. Half-fill a glass with ice and pour the mixture into the glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple.
